Children

At Triad Christian Fellowship, we believe children are vital to the church, both now and in the future. Our Children’s Ministry exists to come alongside families to see the next generation find their joy and identity in Jesus Christ.

We want every child to feel safe, known, and loved as they discover who God is and what it means to walk with Him.

All of our volunteers are background checked, and every classroom is designed to provide a safe, age-appropriate, and Christ-exalting environment.

Sunday School at TCF

On Sunday mornings, children experience biblically grounded teaching, joyful worship, and meaningful relationships in a setting designed just for them.

Our goal is simple: To help kids see the story of the Bible, Jesus, and their place in God’s big story.

What to Expect on Sunday Morning

We know visiting a new church can feel overwhelming. Here’s what your morning will look like:

• Check-In: Our Kids Check-In team will warmly welcome your family and help you get registered.
• Safe & Secure Environment: Each child receives a name tag and matching security tag for pick-up.
• Age-Appropriate Classes: Kids are placed in classrooms designed specifically for their stage of development.
• Bible-Centered Teaching: Each week includes Scripture-based lessons, discussion, and application.
• Worship & Activities: Children engage through music, interactive learning, and hands-on activities.
• Pick-Up: After service, parents use matching security tags for a smooth and secure pick-up process.

We’ll walk with you every step of the way—your first Sunday doesn’t have to feel confusing.

Our Age Groups

We provide age-appropriate environments so every child can engage in a way that fits their stage of growth:

Nursery (0–2 years) A safe, nurturing space where your child is cared for and loved.

Preschool (3–5 years) Bible stories, worship songs, crafts, and activities that introduce foundational truths about God’s love.

Lower Elementary (K–2nd Grade) Our elementary students dive deep into Bible weekly. Through a mix of teaching, hands-on projects, and rhythms of Scripture reflection, we aim to help kids transition from simply knowing Bible stories to loving the God behind them.

Upper Elementary (3rd–6th Grade) Creative, Christ-centered learning through Bible teaching and hands-on activities. Our goal is to foster a lasting love for God’s Word through active discovery and fellowship.

**Weekly take-home resources are provided so families can continue the conversation and practice verses together at home!

What We Teach

Our Sunday School is centered on God’s Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ by utilizing The Gospel Project curriculum. 

Each week, children are taught:

• The big story of the Bible—from creation to redemption in Christ
• Who Jesus is and why He matters for our lives today
• How to love God and love others
• How Scripture applies to everyday decisions, relationships, and emotions

We offer knowledge, but we aim for transformation.

Partnering with Parents

We believe parents are the primary spiritual influencers in a child’s life. Our role is to support, encourage, and equip families not replace them.

We want to come alongside you as you help your child grow in:

• Faith in Jesus
• Love for God’s Word
• A heart shaped by grace, truth, and humility

We desire for every child to experience a church body where they are:

• Known and valued
• Safe and cared for
• Pointed consistently to Jesus
• Invited to grow in faith in a joyful environment

This is part of how we live out our mission to Gather, Grow, and Go as disciples of Jesus, even from the youngest age.
