Sin, Faith, and Healing

Consider Leprosy as a picture of our Sin:

• It is primarily an anesthetic disease...it hides the true sensation one should feel and permits injury, likewise our sin blinds us to the reality of its effects
• Jesus was willing to heal the leper who approached Him, helpless, and He is willing to heal all from their sinful condition...making them presentable again.

Consider the Faith of the Centurion:

• Recognize the authority of Jesus over the situation of your sickness (sin).
• Realize that God's offer of grace through Jesus extends to all, but many who assume that they are on the way, are not.

Consider the reaction of the Healed(Peter's Mother)

• When Peter's mother was healed, she immediately began to serve Jesus, and others around her.
• What are you doing with the gift of salvation, of healing?
